Conjugated congenital hyperbilirubinaemias


Dubin-Johnson syndrome:

Autosomal recessive

Caused by a defect in the cMOAT transporter gene

Defect in the handling of bilirubin by the liver

Good prognosis

The liver is black, owing to melanin deposition
